I am honored to be hosting two, in a series of fun events aimed at getting shelter pets adopted. It’s part of NBC’s ongoing Clear The Shelters initiative. The event is Bark Week Virtual Meet and it is basically a meet and greet for shelter pets and people looking for a furry new family member to love. Think of it kind of like the dating game, lol.

My two events are Monday, Aug. 10th at 4 pm and Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 4 pm. I will be hosting pets from Little Shelter Animal Rescue in NYC and the Pennsylvania SPCA in Philly. Each event will last about 30 minutes and we will not just show you the pets, but you will also get to participate and ask questions about them.

Even if you are not ready to adopt, you can donate or just come hang out and have some fun. Every August, NBC and Telemundo owned stations team up with hundreds of shelters across the country to host Clear The Shelters, a nationwide pet adoption drive that helps find loving homes for animals in need. More than 411,000 pets have found their forever homes since 2015.
